About Aaron

A Civil Engineering Technologist with seven years of experience, Aaron Maringa specializes in Railway and Water Engineering, Construction Management and Infrastructure Maintenance.

His experience was gained locally within the rail infrastructure maintenance division of Transnet Freight Rail and the transport sector at GIBB (Pty) Ltd.

Aaron Maringa studied at Nelson Metropolitan University towards his National Diploma in Civil Engineering between the years 2007 and 2010. He then worked with Transnet Freight Rail during his In-service Training (P1 and P2).
After completing his studies with the University, he was appointed at Transnet Freight Rail as a Technician in Training on April 2011.

On April 2013 he was appointed as an Engineering Technician (Civil), under the Perway Department where he is responsible for planning and execution of railway maintenance and civil projects.

In April 2014, Aaron joined Bicacon Pty (Ltd) as a Resident Engineer, responsible for Bushbuckridge Water Reticulation Project, Ermelo Southern Water Treatment Works, Molopo Eye Bulk Water Supply, KZN Rapid Response Water Project and Klipdrift Water Treatment Works.
In May 2015, Aaron joined Gibb as a Perway Technician, responsible fpr Sasol Secunda Consulting Services, Port Elizabeth port expansion, Kelvin Curve Replacement and Braamfontein Tender Adjudication projects.
